Methinks Tim is too kind! There are excellent pieces too from Nic Fasci, who was on the original development team for the 260s, and from Roger Parker, technical adviser to the MG Owners' Club.

I tried a while back to join the 260 club, as I always have hoped, one day, to get a v8!
However, I never succeeded, as far as I remember, you have to have a VIN number of a car, and that is not too smart, if you haven't yet got one!

It was a while back, but that is as I remember it.

If you have to own the car before you can join, then i makes it difficult to research the car, specs, problems etc before you buy.

Not that it would make much difference in my case. If one came by, I would snatch it, provided the wife has her attention somewhere else, momentarily!

You can register without owning a V8 but have limited access.
If you have any questions, members are more than happy to help.

A couple of new articles to read.

Ever wondered if the ZT260 is better than the Maserati Quattroporte? Anthony Braham finds out.

Also a bit about Stoneleigh next year.
