I've signed up, for all the good it will do. If by some miracle the government do take notice of the petition and reduce/freeze the fuel prices, should we start one for the duty formerly known as road tax and also a petition against the robbing b*%&*rds , insurance companies? We, as motorists are being ripped off left, right and centre, so much so that I have seriously considered selling the car and relying on public transport or shanks pony.

DON'T DO IT!!! That's just wot they want!! They want us to be back in the days of Downton Abbey where we're just the unclean masses while they Lord it over us

& have almost empty roads for their mates to drive round unhindered by us mere peasants
