BBC saying Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was on board but authorities don't know who else was involved.

Update: Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha was in the helicopter. Reuters reporting there were four other passengers but that hasn't been confirmed.

All five on board, including the owner of LCFC confirmed dead. Very sad.

How on Earth does any aircraft get past all the rules and regs to cause such a disaster?

I'm not sure, however that report does reference a CAA report perhaps it's in there.

https://www.gov.uk/aaib-reports?keyw...rence%5Bto%5D=

more in here. It says how it happened but not why.
