Thanks Tam, I missed your reply..

I have two weeks off work. Great, will catch up with the Marina and some other bits.
No. I have been working on a rather ungrateful Austin A50. What a horrible thing to work on. Oil filter change. How complicated can that be??
Starter motor off,
Distributor off,
Oil pressure switch off,
Dynamo off..
All for a simple maintenance item that needs doing every three months or 3000 miles.
Tomorrow I am fitting electronic ignition, adjusting valve clearances.
The Marina is also having electronic ignition, valve clearances and oil change.

I had a PM from a member the other day asking for a picture of my Marina. It led to me looking through my photobucket account to find a good one.
Then I remembered this thread that I started over five years ago!

Sadly the fleet has shrunk and I now only own the K reg Marina.

If anyone is interested:

Good to see you've still got 1 classic on the go Phil. Think I've gone in the other direction up to about 8 or 9 at the moment

Took a quick pick on Friday of some

Got a couple of 75 tourers. Still my old diesel and a 1.8t both are destined for scrap man really.
In deep storage are another P6 V8 which used to belong to Frazzle and an 1964 Wedgwood blue P6 2000 .
Behind the line up of Rovers in above picture is a 1950's David Brown tractor. Not moved for a few years and technically family owned

Get some pics up if you can!
I would love another vintage tractor when I can finally afford to move to the countryside and have the space. When I was a kid I bought a Nuffield Universal DM4, afterwards I had a Fordson super major but I always preferred the Nuffield.

I do miss my beige BL fleet.

What is about a marina that anyone could possibly like?

You could say that about a lot of things...

I like them and to me, that is all that matters.

I see Phil is man who likes beige!!

Going back to the first ever post in this thread, one of my accidental ebay purchases turned out to be the unique Arden Green 2.5 Club SE tourer, currently awaiting recommissioning. Another such buy was a Triumph Stag, anyone want it?
