Painting wheel hubs

This is one of my new rear wheel hubs. Is there any reason why I shouldn't paint it to prevent rusting? (Obviously, I don't mean the other side of it.

) Just wondering if paint would somehow interfere with ABS sensors (magnetic ring?).

Decorative paint will have zero effect on the ABS system.

TC - can you recommend a grease to pack these out with?

Here are the painted hubs (fiddly job) - I've got some new grease caps to go with them.

They're prefilled and don't need packing with grease.

They look really good from where did you purchase these rear ABS sensor hubs please, have you used hammerite paint
