I've had my Pela pump for 4 years without any problem at all. Used it mainly on my Jaguar S type (now back in a Rover) because the oil filter was easily accessible from the top of the engine. Same with the FJ 1200.

There's really not much to go wrong with the Pela. If the pump don't pump, maybe try oiling the cup washer inside the body. If the reservoir doesn't retain vacuum, then the valve at the top is leaking. It should be fixable if you look at how it's fitted together. Maybe as simple as a new rubber washer. TC |
