Power steering pump failure
41,500 miles, it is pumping fluid onto the floor.
Age kills another part. Luckily I have a production line item in the loft, brand new, let's hope that's still OK. |

Quite unlucky, they're normally solid on the K!

Seems like another PAS pump failure/leak due to deteriorated seals. I have seen threads with this issue more and more during the last year, so it seems like our PAS pumps are getting close to their expire date. Repair kits are luckily easily available for a reasonable price. First port of call is to check/replace the O-ring under the inlet elbow flange.
Take a look at the last post in this thread: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...d.php?t=216520 Last edited by beinet1; 18th May 2016 at 05:38.. |

Interestingly, the turbo K series pump is one sealed unit. It doesn't have the bolt on elbow.
Mine is leaking behind the pulley from the main shaft seal. |
