Here in Derby we have escaped most of the day free from showers.

I managed to sort my squealing back brake out, and strip and clean all the brakes on the car.

It's not too good now, but its not been a complete washout thankfully!

Cool

Morning all.

It’s a lot cooler this morning, 19 degrees, but it’s bright with a few clouds.

Greetings all - from a sunny, bright but cool North Yorkshire.
I'm off on my jollies (again!) today. After 4 iffy weeks of weather on our travels in June, I thought I'd book a few days somewhere where the weather is guaranteed to be consistent. So, we're off with the tin tent to that bastion of dry sunshine ..........................the Lake District
I booked 11 nights at Watermillock near Ullswater, about 6 miles South of Penrith - notice that the name of the village rhymes with 'what a pillock' - which is what I'll be if we cop for a lot of rain.

Good morning all have an enjoyable safari Rod, the lakes and awesome views. We had a lovely day at Serena’s memorial yesterday in Oxfordshire. Last night I had to lance the dental abscess myself with plenty of the finest malt to numb and sterilise the area, this morning it has gone down and the sun is shining

Good morning Ian, thank you for the link. I see the council are delaying introducing the emissions restrictions until 2024, but will be hammering the diesel taxis, buses and trucks, but not private cars. I can’t see us getting a Tesla if I have anything to do with it, my money will be on Tourer
