Evening all, we finally have hot water, for a while anyway. Boiler engineer has to come back and replace about half the boiler components apparently, a large time consuming job. Something to do with water being where it shouldn't be. Been grand day here , supposed to be horrendous weather Friday though.

I finally got around to installing my Cyberlink power director video editing suite onto this PC.

Blimey it's frightening how you forget how to edit the simplest things in it when you've not used it for ages.
Thank heavens for youtube tutorials.
Ian, thats a brilliant video editor which I would love to have on my laptop, unfortunately it is not compatible with my laptop. If I ever return to Windows, it is a definite must have.

I came across a photo today going through an album and surprise, surprise! I used to be clean shaven and was a bit more of a tub than I am now.
Here I am at the controls of an air ambulance on a mercy flight. Please don't show it to the kids, I might give them nightmares

Cool

Morning all.

The weather looks uncertain today. We are expecting this storm to hit us tomorrow.

Back to normal now after a restful day yesterday.

Morning Phil, WoW! I would have never recognised you from that picture . You've certainly had an interesting life.

Yes it's a top video editor, I bought this a while ago to be able to do the PIP (Picture in Picture) thing with my vids, I think this is Power Director 10 I have, they're up to edition 16 or something nowadays.

They're certainly beyond version 12 -that pre-installed on my new HP laptop a couple of years ago - a very powerful piece of kit it is too.

Good morning everyone - lovely and sunny, warm without being too hot and just a tad of breeze to freshen the air.
I'm off for the biennial eye test this morning - I suspect I'll be poorer when I come out of the opticians.

Looks like we might have to batten down the hatches tomorrow!
I'd best get the outside tomato plants moved inside the greenhouse later today.
