If any member wants a similar LHD column, there is a brand new one in my loft gathering dust.
Free if anyone cares to collect it. Definitely no post. |

vibration through steering wheel
Searched the forum* regarding this and having tried a few things wondering if the replacement of the steering column may be the solution.
Am I right in thinking that the rimmers part QMB101991PMA is the replacement for a 51 plate cdt? Thanks in advance. * but not enough as now confirmed it is the part number. UPDATE No.2 Finally got round to replacing the original column with the LHD from Rimmers - what a difference. The vibration from the wheel and a lot of the vibration from the dash has disappeared and I can hear faint rattles from loose items in door pockets, dash recesses etc. Thanks to Rich for the how to, not a difficult job with that to guide you. Anyone thinking of doing this will find it well worth the effort. Last edited by bigblue75; 19th May 2017 at 11:58.. Reason: update |
