If you had read my comment properly you would see that I said it ran around the head and trickled down the front of the block (and therefore appearing to come from behind the exhaust manifold).

But still getting a tiny oily residue in the water, but no hydrocarbons ..
so pretty sure it still got a touch of HGF .. C,

How do you know the exact temps? Is there a method of getting the car to display it?

But it's not everyone's cup of tea and unless it's done right will cause problems elsewhere is the cooling system.
