If anything half decent for sensible money comes along, nobody is interested. This car is a poor spec, everyone slates the 1.8 and it's nearly 20 years old, what a great deal, how can we all resist? |

This is assuming full service history, which it won't have, more than 6 months on the MOT and two sets of keys.
If you only have one set of keys, they are prepared to offer just £50 Last edited by rich17865; 21st April 2016 at 10:29.. |

If someone did buy this car if they were unfortunate and be involved in an accident then the insurance company would only offer trade price for it if it was a write off
Maybe not as low as we buy any car but you'd have to fight to even get a fraction of the sellers asking price despite the mileage or condition. It's not only this car, many other cars with low miles and higher price tags fall into the same trap. Well worth taking into consideration when buying Russ

He says finance is available.
I would love to see the finance company who will secure that much more than its market value against the car. |

I wonder how many years it would take for a car like this to be worth its asking price.

The 40 year old bracket isn't really fetching near that price. They struggle to achieve half that price. Last edited by rich17865; 21st April 2016 at 12:17.. |
