Arrow Less than a quarter of one percent

Just looking at production figures for the 75.

I am surprised to learn that the 1.8 turbo automatic tourer makes up less than a quarter of one percent (0.25%) of the total production volume.

Making the model, I think, the rarest 75 model made, excluding the prototypes and kit cars of course.

Early morning number crunching

Yes there is not a lot going on here at the moment

It wasn't cheap, and I guess sounds a bit weedy for a load lugging estate version.

I guess you are right

And still nobody wants to buy them

But if you do, good luck finding one, one on ebay for silly money, that's all.

Rich can you do me a favour?
According to Longbridge figures there was only one Arran White 2.5V6 Auto Club SE. Ok so mine is a Cowley car and seeing as your not busy any chance of trying to find out how many of my spec were built there.
I'll check back in ten minutes

The first Rover 75 that I drove was a 1.8 Turbo Tourer.
Albeit a manual, I had a new one on loan from the local MGR dealer whilst they did the head gasket on a newish MGF that I had at the time.
They had a backlog of work, so I had the car for about 3 weeks. It must have been around 2002.

Not a weedy engine though, I was very impressed with it.
I guess that car planted the seed for my subsequent Rover 75 ownership.

All tourers are 2nd rate vehicles, who ever thought a tourer was a pedigree. they are workhorses.
worse than a Club.
