Question "crackling noise" from radio when rear window demister is on

Hi All

I have a most annoying crackling noise from radio when rear demister is on ..all is ok as soon as I switch the demister off.

Any ideas.......

i have a new car bmw and mine is the same,only thing i can do is change the aerial so not going to bother as can easy just switch to cd or sd card for a couple of mins

The demister element doubles as the radio aerial. Interference is usually down to the connections on the signal amplifier behind the trim on the C pillar.
