Evening all, I'm really upset tonight, while taking the Xmas tree down this afternoon put some of the baubles on that chair and one,a bell shaped bauble that tinkled when you shook it, fell off and smashed into a thousand pieces. It was a decoration that I have had all my life it belonged to my grandma, then it belonged to my parents and then it was mine. It has been in the family for nearly 90 years..

That’s not good Richard, I wish I still had some of my mums decorations but sadly they went years ago.

I know it's only a Xmas decoration and they break all the time but I had been extra careful with this one as I always loved it s a kid, and kept it safe ,each year it was wrapped separately in its own bubble wrap and now it's gone. Mum is 88 and she remembers it from her childhood too, chows how old it is.

Cool

Just received very sad news. My nieces hubby to be has died from COVID-19 after being admitted to hospital last Friday. My niece has also tested positive but is at home. Their baby boy is being looked after by relatives.

Plus my friends Emma and her husband Kevin has also both tested positive with the illness. They live in Enfield North London. (Emma is the lady who makes the MG-Rover cushions).

Feel at a loss knowing that I cannot do anything to help.

Keep safe people.

Morning all, I do miss the north east, you can’t beat a proper snowfall.
