More necessity than a treat Anthony. When I got it back yesterday morning it had been "cleaned" but there's still traces of the usual "been in a garage" dust inside.

Good morning fellow chillers The season of the long rains arrived 2 nights ago. Badly needed after the drought.

We heard a story from one of the nurses looking after S, that one of the maids in the Mother-In-Laws house, had told her in a drunken state that she was the one who took a laptop from us. We don't employ any maids ourselves, so we are not in a position to dismiss her and would need more proof than hearsay. She is a slutty maid, a bruiser with a reputation for going into the village drinking and fighting....she is kept on by others in the family who feel she deserves a chance at living life normally, but I think they are misguided by their do-gooder ways.

The story goes that after lifting her stolen goods, that she hides the stuff somewhere near to the long drop, to be collected and passed on after dark. The long drop is behind our house next to the vegetable plot....sorry for the long winded story.

Good morning Steve, a nice change for you to have break from harsh weather. Hopefully more to come your way. How did you get on with the specialist yesterday?

Morning (just) all, it started out as a manky day today - heavy drizzle, low cloud and cold - but there are small signs of it drying up and even a hint of sun in the distance.

Just taken delivery of my second new Ford car in 2 days - a MkI RS1600 Ford Escort this time

Hi Phil, it was just a regular progress appointment. Shoulder is improving but it is "fragile", doesn't take much to make it flare up but now when it does it settles again within a few days. I'm still taking amitryptoline at night, shoulder is fine at night until I move then it wakes me up.

Sitting down to a coffee after two hours cleaning the interior of the beast. Body shop had "cleaned" it but there was still a lot of dust and the black leather had a distinct grey tint to it.

Also fitted a computer indicator stalk so that my IPK works! I had an IPK with an ordinary indicator stalk, typical V8 production line routine, fit what ever is in the box behind you.

There's a trim clip in the boot gone walkabout, need to replace it.
