Rolling Road Results CDT
What does everyone think of this graph for my cdt? I was hoping for more if I'm honest. I've gone over the graph in Photoshop so you can read it since it was quite faint in the pic. My car is the 115 model, remapped to 131 with a custom map (not a great map) mk2 air intake mod and synergy 2 module turned upto 6. It didn't smoke to badly on the dyno. I was hoping for 150 given my mods. I've just got hold of an OBD Diagnostics kit so I'm going to check for any boost leak tomorrow. |

You can normally get around the 150 to 155BHP mark with a standard 131bhp engine then a Synergy and MK2 Intake Mod,
Spring Mod, Change of Air filter to BMC or similar, and a good MAF. A decat also helps a few more BHP. The EGR bypass also helps improve airflow and performance slightly to. On top of that a Custom made remap can take it to 170BHP or a few more it seems with a Manual Box. £30 is a Excellent price, I pay double that for a Rolling Road test and Computer print outs. |

Hi John the hp figure is at the wheels so it falls in line with your expectations, adding 10-15% gives 158-163bhp for comparing to flywheel figures. I haven't done the spring mod, air filter and maf are originals. The air filter was changed not long ago.
I was expecting the torque to be higher and to peak earlier. The standard 131 is meant to give 220ft/lbs at 1900rpm where as mine is around 150ft/lbs at that point. Does that point to a Faulty MAF maybe? It didn't smoke too much on the rollers |

I don't know the author of the remap but I loaded the file myself using a friends KWP2000+. My friend already had the map file so it was free but I've since been told that the remap isn't very good and acts more like an ebay tuning box by opening the injector times upto double the original at some points, it doesn't compensate for load or alter boost etc so at some point I plan on getting a proper remap by Matt (pocketbikeuk) on .org.
I should add only use a KWP2000+ if your willing to risk your ECU. It if it fails whilst writing you'll need a new one so you have to be brave... |

The XPart Official upgrade to 131BHP is still the best way to go, if funds allow, and then the Synergy etc.
