My ZT used to be Green!
I have been driving my ZT 190+ for a few weeks now and only today I noticed that it used to be green! I noticed all metal work in the boot appeared to be British racing green. There's a couple of tiny stone chips in the bonnet and I can see green in it. Also a couple of places inside the door I can see green.
Car has full service history with a lot of other paperwork, all of which says black. I can only assume the car was resprayed in its infancy. Any ideas on how to find out it's original colour was green? Could be a factory mistake thus it was always black from first being registered (a theory anyway) |

Colour code is LQW, Anthracite. I guess this means it was manufactured to be this colour. Anyone have an idea why it would be green underneath?

On the passenger side B-Pillar. There should be a plaque with a code of 3 or so letters.
and using EXMSRalph ebay guide you should be able to tell what colour it was. http://reviews.ebay.co.uk/MG-Rover-p...00000008393677 |

Is the green a base coat of some sort?

Perhaps it is the base coat then. I thought it was raven black as it had a blue-ish shine to it. What is odd is if it is the base coat, the entire inside of the boot is green. The inside's normally are the same as the outside, at least on all car I've ever seen.
