Tempting fate?
Just a general update on my car really. Maybe tempting fate though.
After all my recent problems, it would seem my car is now running pretty much perfectly! Refitted my Synergy after Roveron reprogrammed it and after 5 days of great performance, I have had no reoccurence of the engine management light that was permantly lit when I first fitted the synergy. Also no black smoke when accelerating and synergy on setting 3. After the battery being dead on Monday and needing a jump start, the car has started first time on the button everytime since. Although I am aware that these batteries can just suddenly die! No repeat of the bonnet not opening again after fixing it on Monday and doing the little release cable modification. No real squeaks or rattles from the cabin, just an occasional squeak from rear suspension when getting in and out of car which I am told could be handbrake pads needing a clean. Mpg is up to high 30's going by trip computer, although this is not that accurate as have synergy fitted. Boot unlocks and opens first time since Corin sorted it for me. So for the last week I have been enjoying the sort of motoring I anticipated when I bought this car. Long may it continue! |
