It's been a while since I last posted in this section, but ready to have another go.have just got a new mob Galaxy S5 so consequently taking most of my pics with this at the present, personally I think the results are great for me.
As some of you may know,I like to take sunset shots preferably sea based shot's.I live on the Cumbrian Coast & get some quite spectacular sunset's. My preference is a sunset with varying cloud, which to me gives off some superb shot's,as you never get the same shot twice, without the cloud effect's a clear sunset is well, just that, another sunset. Will start with four, not necessary my best ones, just thought I would start with four Harbour shot's taken along the Cumbrian Coast, all shot's incidentally taken with Mobile. Whitehaven Harbour entrance & Pier's. The Entrance to the old Harrington Harbour. Workington Harbour & Dock Entrance with the Scottish Hills forming a backdrop. Maryport Harbour Entrance & Pier. Best Regards. John.

A few Maritime pics especially for Phil [Gatekeeper]they were all taken at the PORT of WORKINGTON on the West Coast of Cumbria ,including the Dredging activity, mostly around sunset,as that is usually why I am there, the shipping making a splendid addition.
The first & last shot are Scottish based vessels which carry Timber to the local Wood/Pulp Plant which can be seen in the far background immediately behind the Dredger in the second shot. I particularly like, for atmospheric reasons, the last shot, sailing into a glorious sunset on a beautiful calm Summer Evening. Second last shot is the local 'PILOT' Vessel 'DERWENT' also seen in attendance with 'AMAZONE'. Incidentally this Vessel 'AMAZONE' from the Netherlands I believe, featured on a Television program a few weeks ago, can't remember what it was now. Anyhow, just for you Phil & everyone else of course lol.
