Default xenons (fix ) how to ?

quick question , my passenger side xenon the inside bit lens is very loose, i thought this was normal when i changed the unit . now it is not quite as central as the drivers side , i believe you can drill a hole somewhere to reattatch the control arm , but cant find a post on this .

thanks mark

hi Mark, not sure which bit is loose on yours but nothing shoud rattle when you shake it.

The prism sits on three long bolts and if the base of these has snapped off then you are in trouble.

If it is the sub assy that is loose it sits on three cup and cone ball type joints that just snap together. Can be difficult to get your hands in to pull it back together but can be done. I bought a second set to replace mine as they rattled and this turned out to be the cause and I could repair them.

Member on here got a good set of Xenons at a good price because i could repair mine

if you look at the front of the projector ( the lens ) with the chrome surround , the inside lens itself is sitting low and was loose when i fitted it .

thanks mark

If it is just the prism ( the bullseye ) then it is the base of the three bolts that are broken, there are only three fixings used on the ones i have seen but four fixing points are provided. this means one of the fixins can be transferred. then you will need an indistrial strength glue to attempt to refix the others. not an easy job
