Default So what happens at a National Meeting?

Never having attended a National Meet before pray enlighten me. What do you do?

Quiz?
  • Where does this part go?
  • Why the Rover 75?
  • Where are the Phoenix 4 now?
Competitions?
  • How quick to change a V6 cambelt?
  • Find this rattle?
  • Cure this boot leak?
Dancing girls?

Look at rubbish cars, talk rubbish, eat rubbish, then drive home (hopefully without anything breaking on your car)

Well at least you got the dancing girls bit right.
Oh and as it's your first national you must bring lots of chocolate HobNobs.

Cool

You can put names to faces, actually meet in person some of the people that have offered advice or sent parts. Not everyone can attend naturally.
You get to admire other members cars who will show you all the jobs they have done, gives you ideas about what you could do to yours.

At this meet you can go into the RNAS museum at a reduced cost, handy if it’s raining as they have a nice cafe.
There will be a trophy to be won for Best Car in Show as voted for by the members that attend.

Actros will have the club shop there, well some stock, so you can buy stuff.
As already stated there maybe a T4 specialist on hand to put right those niggley faults. Someone will help with checking the plenums for you.

Lots to do at National, lots to see.
