Steering Wheel? Change
Just an opinion needed, what would people think if I was to take out a faded Walnut steering wheel and replace it with a very nice black MG wheel with the Smokestone Airbag, would it be yuk! or what do you guys think. Rev |

It's a very common mod, and although I don't think it looks great, with the ZT wheel being perforated, if your car has an Ash Grey interior, a contemporary wheel, which is black, but with normal leather, makes it look just like you've got a 75 with a personal line steering wheel, albeit in a colour that was never available.

Change it, if you like it keep it, if not change it back. It's your car ,don't worry what other people think.

There's something about that reassuring chunky feel of a walnut wheel. I remember swapping my standard steering wheel in my previous diesel and being amazed at the difference.
When buying my current car a walnut wheel was an essential requirement. If I was to be asked what is my favourite part of my 75, the wooden steering wheel would buy right up there.

"what do you guys think"
Well I'd think Rev Jules is cracking up. Hopefully Sister Dawn will point out the error of your ways. |
