Default Nexan N8000 Tyres

I know, SILLY topic to start but I replaced the Khumo ectas on my car (CDTi Tourer, motobuild springs, ZT-T dampers and 18 inch wheels) with Nexan N8000 tyres today then set off on a 200 mile trip..... I wanted Uniroyal Rainsports to be honest but they were twice as expensive at my local tyre place and I needed them today on the back especially. They are actually more comfortable than the Kumo's ever were, at the moment it doesn't corner quite as well but at £70 a corner fitted I'm far from unhappy.

I'm really just posting this because I HATE buying tyres as no one agrees ever, but they seem to be a decent cheapish tyre if you have 18 inch wheels and like a bit of comfort as well as being able to go round corners at a reasonable rate

Admittedly not on a 75 but I have had several sets of nexens on different cars including winter tyres and found them quite reasonable and thus far have not found any ditches.

They are the official tyre supplier of Manchester City, so they're probably only good for the occasional long trip to europe

Does this mean they'll fail once you get to mainland Europe!

I've just had nexen tyres fitted all round last month, for the price I was happy, quieter and more comfy. But saying that all the old tyres were all different makes so not a lot to compare.

They get the thumbs up from me at £178 all fitted at national tyres, through tyreshopper.

My new to me BMW is like that, on the front is a Pirelli paired with a Kenda and the back has a Michelin paired with a Sunny. Luckily I managed to get another set of wheels all with Michelin tyres so will get them swapped over shortly. With tyres having all different characteristics, grip, sidewall stiffness and what have you I do like to have at least matched axles.

Got the same tyres on my ZTT and couldn't be more happy with them. Definately going to replace them with the same again

Had Nexen N8000's fitted to my ZT-T last. IMO better than the Avon ZZ3's I replaced them with, and the Falken FK453's. Cheaper too. I fitted them as they were destined for my project 190 tourer, but ran them until they needed replacing.

I would say the best performing tyre for the price I've had fitted to date.

Best price I found (fitted) for 225 45 18 here.
