Webasto 1530 timer fit
Hi folks,
I'm playing with the idea of convert my factory fitted fbh to parking heater on my 2000 CDT. I have read various threads on this, but it's still not clear to me so I'm in need of step by step ( idiotic guide ). Im not really into electrician things. Lets say I have the square webasto 1530 timer with some factory wiring (1 long wiring loom with connectors, probably from BMW). I'd like to get it into armrest box. Which equipment do I need and how to connect that to make it work ? I have a friend who is able to understand all these things and has really good electrician skills as well. Thank you very much in advance Regards Kamil |

Fit a 12v remote switch and then you can switch on and off from your chair. Only £10 from EBay and easy to fit, Depending on model of FBH it's either tap the live or negative wire at the unit plugs and split them into the switch, then live and negative from switch to battery or any permanent live connection. There's also the GSM route that enables start stop commands via text message, again not overly difficult or expensive. There is a how to guide on here for the GSM fitment.
