CD Changer Stopped working?
Hi all, Hoping someone can help,
My Multi CD Changer has stopped working, was fine one day, then we had the cold spell and no doesnt work, Not getting any sound from the cd check, and cant remove the cassette itself, Its located in the glove box, and its the Hi Line Sat nav system Has anyone had this issue before? Any ideas on fixing the problem? Thanks All, MG ZT-T 2001, V6

Quite common at this time of year, damp in CD player in warm glove box, resulting in condensation on discs. Condensation confuses laser reader so discs won't play.
Try taking disc cartridge indoors for a couple days and wiping disc faces. In the car drive with glove box open to dispel condensation. When you return cartridge to player do not close the sliding dust cover so player can breath. |
