Hi Pete,
Sorry but I won't be able to make this one as swmbo was rushed into hospital last week and is now recovering from an operation infection (the wonders of the modern NHS!). If they release her before the weekend I'll obviously have to put on my suspenders, black stockings and nurses outfit to care for her at home . So until the new year meets I'll take my leave

Best wishes every one

Hi Nobby,

Thanks for letting us know the situation, your wife's health is the highest priority.
I am sure she will respond to your tender and loving care.
Regarding the vision of you in suspenders, black stockings and nurses outfit this will obviously lead to a new career as a Hattie Jaques look a like. However, the moustache will have to go!
Have a few Brain's SA and enjoy a great Xmas both of you, we will see you early next year.

Hi All,

Went into the newly refurbished WatersEdge today. Looks good but slightly different. There is a long horseshoe shaped booth parallel with the window wall where we normally sit. It is the same in the diagonally opposite corner.
I have reserved a table for ten alongside, where we have sat previously.
My pleas for the lower carpark to be open have not yet succeeded but I am still working on it.
Looking forward to seeing you all on Sunday morning. Weather cold but bright and sunny around 7 degrees.
Hopefully Alanjay and Woof25 can join us for meets in the New Year once they have both recovered.
