Default CD Changer????

Is there a way of getting cds out of the changer when the changer has no power , a little trick of the trade lets say.....

Thanks for the link but I think that already shows the cd holder removed from the changer , the problem I have is the last owner had water inthe boot and it blow the radio module so he bought a new bluetooth head unit he has now traded the car in hence I now have it and he has asked if at some point he could get the cds back , he says it needs a new module to fire up the cd changerI would have thoght if the power was plugged in the changer that would be enough to eject the cd cartridge ....but I could be wrong...

I have never done done this, however, two methods spring to mind.

find out the pin ins for +ve and -ve and bung a couple of wires into them connected straight to your battery. Then press the eject button.

Alternatively, if plug it into another car with the same changer fitted, and press eject.

If it's the glove box type bring it to Milton Keynes and if someone knows a quick way of getting my CD unit out, you can plug into cables and hopefully eject the cartridge.

Great idea ......but ,there always is one , I dont get the car until July 2nd , Iwas just trying to gather info so when I get the car I can pile straight in and get things sorted quickly....
