i remember years ago when i was stopping in a caravan at skeggy and two eurofighters did a low pass and went through the sound barrier overhead,jesus christ the noise was off the scale,i felt the shockwave from it.....scary brown trouser time was had by all

i used to live in South Lanarkshire in a small village.

The Tornadoes used to over fly our houses using my coalfire chimney as a heat source.

One winters night i thought a bomb had went off and the whole house shook .

I looked out the front window and just saw the flashing red light of the Tornado go past .

It was a regular event there .

Alas, I didn't take it, but I'd have loved to have been there.

It was taken in a place referred to officially as Tactical Training Area 7T. Or colloquially as the "Mach Loop". With aircraft regularly flying at as little as 100ft
