Default Leaving the fold - bye then

As the OP from the thread which Oddsox refers to, I have refrained from commenting on his intolerant attitude up 'til now (oh wait... I guess I just did!)

Not all owners are entirely mechanically minded (myself obviously), but I value this forum for the helpful and tolerant attitude of most of the members

I agree, if you're not mechanically savvy, you wouldn't think to check other things out first,if you did, you wouldn't have asked the questioning the first place.

I'm not mechanically minded or skilled aside from changing a wheel

That's one of the great functions of this forum...to put questions to the mirad experts on here.

A helpful reply is great, if not at least a polite one!

Don't let it worry you my friend. I received the OP's words of wisdom on another thread shortly after you yesterday.

In fact, I think that his most positive and non-ridiculing contribution yesterday was the title of the opening post in this thread.

I am mechanically minded but still reserve the right to ask what others may consider stupid questions.

Ridiculous folk like this are beyond MY personal limit of stupidity...

Bah..

I'm outta here...!

Thanks to all the good fellas..
Sometimes I get thanks for my wise posts, on other occasions I get ridiculed for what some "wiser" than me disagree with. When that happens I vow to leave the club but I'm still here.
Temporary anger tells me to leave but common sense says "Better in than out".

Finally, I once had a Border Collie with a white flash on one leg, so he was nicknamed odd socks. Still miss him because he was so forgiving, hope his namesake has the same common sense.
