Installing the RadioGuy Double Din

When playing with my navigationprogram I have probably made a big mistake. I came at a screen with 3 choises to make.

EXIT the middle i don't remember SHUT DOWN PROGRAM

I chose SHUT DOWN Program. The screen lost slowly its colour blue into
bright grey and the navigationprogram disappeared. I didn't get it back either. So I made a reset in the little hole on top. Still no navigationscreen appeared. I hope shut down is not the same as delete, is it?

How can I start up the navigationscreen again??

Hi Kees,

You are only getting blank screen on Navigation ?
remove SD Card and reinsert.

With some great email support from RadioGuy i was able to get the steering controls working and the power to my arialamp. Now to get TMC working and the jobs a goodnn..

if your stuck and have the same setup i can pm the pictures i took for the setup to help you further.

Story so far...

1. Installed H/U...
2. DVB -T ( via lighter socket otherise the power stays on for some reason !)
3. SatNav Aerial
4. Cable for Camera...( thats next to install at the back !)

Can't get a TMC signal though !...it worked last night but not today...
not sure if I have placed in the right place...If you plug in the main aerial it works like a dream so I think a spltter or a powered TMC Aerial would be better..

Anyone else having TMC issues ?

I also can't seem to find the Green / Brown wire so attatch to the PINK from the H/U to switch the camera when going into reverse !!..

Well....

It was ALL going sooooo well until....

I have managed to lose 3 of the nuts into the boot lid AND have broken
the number plate light assembly !..

Anyone got one for sale ?...MoT in Nov and it will fail !!

I'm still having TMC issues it won't lock on any station.

Got the unit fitted this afternoon, looks really good, but I will have to remove it tomorrow and sort out the arial because its not picking up the radio - easy fix

Also I may be completely dumb but cant change TV setting from ntsc to pal. The icon to change it does nothing - any ideas, please.

Terry Make sure that you have selected the UK as Your Country
But your Unit on second thought has No Analog TV

Update on my little instalation...

I managed to drill through the circuit board on the rear number plate lights !..
But I have soldered wires on and got it to work...

Still 3 out of the 4 nuts disapeared into the boot lid !...Will try and use a coat hanger with tape on to retrive them tomorrow !..

Also got a bit of a rattle, think thats the DVB-T so will use some foam on that tomorrow also...

Rear View Camera, working and changes when going into reverse !..

Still NO TMC ...looks like will either have to get a splitter or a powered one...
