Most new Headunits have a facility to change the colour to anything you want... (Well, better ones anyway - and I'm not talking brand, more price-range).

The Sony head unit matches both the blue and the orange perfectly as it has two illumination options.... I have it set to blue to match the dashboard clocks

My kenwood kdc bt61u can be changed through a lot of colours and you can also adjust the shade until you get a perfect colour match

I just fitted one of these and it even goes so far as having different colours for the Controls/Buttons and the Display!

Here's my Pioneer 80PRS, matches perfectly. You can change the buttons and/or display to any colour you like.

Thanks that has narrowed it down a bit.
I like the look of some of the sony units.
I hope they are steering wheel control compatible.

You will need one of these: http://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/steer...47_87_197.html

....and a corresponding Patch Lead for the make of Stereo you buy. But just make sure the Stereo Head Unit has the Steering Remote Connectivity...
