This is going to be your best bet after an OEM one, the ones above are not for the diesel engine. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rover-75-P...item56544d12f1 Original part http://mgroverparts.eu/genuine-rover...1402-215-p.asp

They make different ones because the vibration, torque characteristics are very different between the diesel and the petrol versions.

Did you check it by inserting a bar or screw driver to see if it had failed or is starting to fail, being off a petrol car I have doubts it will last long, you may also get a fair bit of vibration from it. As you can see from the one (diesel) it is just starting to fail. as opposed to this one you can also see the tell tale signs on this one They are also stamped with different letters this one being an M petrol T is for diesel P is also for petrol

I guessed there would be different ratings.my one had completely shot ,the center where the bolt goes had become detached from the rubber so it was banging about like a good un,,,,the one ive put on is from a petrol and in great nick ,20 quid and a quick fix as it was 5 miles from me...I can now put a new polybush one in the one ive took off mine,,,,,to put another mounting on is a two minute job on a diesel......thanks for all your help and knowledge guys
