Well, Ozzy rides again! Thanks to a tip on here about grabbing socket-headed bolts I used a longer one to guide the sleeve back into the cylinder bracket and reattached it with two bolts very securely and the clutch is now fine.
Car's still full of water with a disco for a tail light, but it moves! It was actually pretty easy to refit without head in footwell action, once I had the bolts on a thumbwheel hex key driver I could reach under the dash while sitting in the seat. If the weather's nice at the weekend I'll fix the wiring and do some chasing of the leak and tidying of wiring. Need to sort the bushes at the front, it wanders more than a hobbit.

Black, and with a 666 plate, Anyone got an cross, book and candle handy if he turns up at Longbridge, don't want to be possessed do we now, i think the organisers might not the thought of the show turning into some demonic black sabbath tribute meet, but i might
just have to pack my black lightning strat, just in case lol |

A belated welcome, very much enjoying the write-ups!
I'm likely late to the party here but on the subject of tyres I'm not a fan of Hankooks on these. They really are very pretty in black too, aren't they? |
