hi to all members
this question may sound stupid,when a ecm is replaced is information on the originall ecm eraised and it is then unuseable again

No its not, its retained but unusable on another vehicle due to security codes with the ews

Used ECM units cannot re reconfigured for use with another vehicle using T4, unless you have a magic wand
