Can anyone recommend....
anything to restore the black posts between the front & rear side windows?
They look like it has rained on them & left spot marks. I have tried polish, but that doesn't work and I am reluctant to try anything else in case it leaves them looking worse than they already are! Thanks in advance, Mike |

I've restored the black bits on my mirrors with a very light rubdown with Brasso.....Might work for you

I have often looked at mine and thought the same, I am tempted to use Plasti-Kote spray paint in Matt Black and load of masking tape, but I dont have cajones to try it.

May try a little Brasso (on a small concealed area - except that there isn't one!) Mike |

I used this: http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/m...-restorer.aspx on my 'B' Pillar Trim as well as the Windscreen Scuttle, black mirror trims and Plenum Covers once! And they still look good! Well I think so.
Of course they do get polished occasionally with this: http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/m...-detailer.aspx which I put on with a damp cloth, then polish, (before it dries) with a good quality polishing cloth, like this: http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/m...icrofibre.aspx Thanks, Bill.

I've even used it to polish up scratched and hazed paintwork in the past with success- needs a bit more elbow grease than T-cut as it dries quicker but comes out much less 'swirled'....But obviously on your own head be it.
