Presumably you have halogen lights Then turn the steering to the right, lift bonnet & remove rubber cover behind light. In the wheelarch remove panel you'll see with a thumbscrew type fixing. This'll give access to the fitment.

for later cars it has been found to be easier to remove the wheel to give better access, don't know about 2002 cars

Mine is a 2003 model (Tourer) and mine seemed to be a twisty bayonet fitting on my projectors, which were a total pain to undo and also refit. Had to remove bumper and whole light in end as it was easier!!
borrowed image from a previous post to illustrate difference.

I found the best way to do it was to go to a branch of Wilco and let them do it for free!
