I've now invested in a tool which will stamp the seals out of sheet material in one piece, with no joint. The new seals are manufactured in a closed-cell neoprene which does not hold water, and all the mounting holes exactly match the original items.

I am waiting for delivery of the first production batch. They will be available for members shortly. I will sell them in pairs so that you get a complete car set. The price is (I think ) very reasonable at £10.00 per pair plus £2.50 postage. The OEM price is £16.85 each plus carriage!

Here is a photo of the first off. All the holes are present although the three small holes on the tongues don't show clearly in the photo.

The inital order is for 125 sets so the tooling cost becomes reasonable.I'll start a list if people are interested.

Here is the start of the list. Once the seals are ready I will notify anyone who is interested about payment

Got a set of gaskets through the post a few days (very prompt response). Have not had the chance to fit them yet but they are good quality products and I'm looking forward to a non-squelchy boot!
