Cool

My brother in law has just cooked a very nice meal. Duck breast, broccoli spears, baby corn and tater waffles. And fresh fruit dessert. All washed down with nice Claret.

Morning all, grey, foggy and damp here this morning.

This would have been a good day to have a lie in!

Good morning all, got a nice surprise yesterday when I closed my account with Thames Water, a refund of £156. It all helps

Morning all, misty & damp here but it's mild.

Morning Phil, it's always nice to get something back from the utility companies
What does the water taste like at your new place? I always found the London area water to taste a lot different to the soft water we have here, especially in a cup o tea.
We had a depot in Harpenden when I was in transport and you had a job to get the soap to lather when you had a wash and the inside of their kettle was full of white chalky deposits.
I told them there would be rioting in the streets if the tea was like this up't north lol.

A reet good morning to all the above - and anyone else lurking in the ether.
Another Friday has arrived - and that means it's the wife's Five a Day shopping expedition - Morrisons, Aldi, Iceland, Lidl and B&M - at least
