Default has anone replace the Joint-rear suspension upper link ball

i may have to replace the rear upper suspension link ball.

Number 3 here
http://www.rimmerbros.co.uk/Item--i-GRID001553

has anyone removed and replaced this "bush" with the trailing arm still on the car?
Is it possible to do it with the trailing arm still on the car?

The reason i may have to change it, is becuase the bolt that goes threw it is stuck like ....to a blanket.

Am wondering if i can get a hack sawblade in and cut threw the bolt on either side
