It seems like alot of car for the money. Wait a year and then hit the dealer for half that and grab yourself a real bargain.... its a shame they are doing away with the saloon as i prefer that to the hatch.
Maybe top gear can use it as the next reasonably priced car..

An excellent used car buy, I think in 3-5 years time they will be a major player in the sector, mark my words, the rivals are all far too expensive, and if MG play their cards right and offer a fantastic buying experience they are onto a winner, but not yet they have a lot of work to do first.

I can't understand why they would delete the petrol versions just when diesels are beginning to receive bad press.

I may be selling my black MG 6 Magnette if anyone is interested.
Seems it has just got rarer as MG have stopped making saloons and petrol engines. |

Unfortunately for me I have always thought it the new MG just looks like another boring car to fade into most of the rest of the cars at the supermarket, car parks

Hate it. Has no relevance to MG or British motoring heritage other than the badge, which was bought. Genuinely sorry to any MG6 or 3 owners on here but to me it's a far-eastern facsimile of any other far-eastern car.
The Rover 75 and MG ZT were the last cars worthy of the badge, and when mine finally dies I will replace her with an Alfa, Beemer, Merc or Jag... Second hand... Build me a new MG7 and I might be tempted. Don't offer me a car I might confuse with a Kia.

Nothing like an MG, bears no resemblance from any of its predecessors.
The dash and interior is awful, its been said the quality of the plastic is appalling. Sorry fellas. |

Agree with other comments here.
Sell the MG 7 and I might be interested The MG6 just looks too like a bland Nissan or Eurobox, there's nothing distinctive or special about it. Quality seems to be lacking too, which suggests that while it's a nice idea, it's poorly executed. |
