Default 2.0KV6 Wont start after a run !!!

Hi all
Im sure this has already been covered, so sorry for asking again....

I drove home from work tonight, turned the engine off, and walked into the house for no more than 2 mins......went back out to start her and she just turned over and wouldnt start.....
I tried a few times and she wouldnt fire.............I had to revert to the Toyota company car........AARRGGHHHHH

Just come home from parents evening (been about an hour) and she fired up no problem.....
Took her for a quick spin, drive like a dream..........pulled up on the drive, turned the ignition off and straight back on....she fired up..
Went into the house for a few mins, came back out and back to square one.....no firing...

Is this a usual issue ? T4 needed ?

Any help would be greatfully received....(dont want to use the toyota again )

Sounds typical of Cam Sensor failure..... A lot of coverage on here on this issue. (Do a search). When cold or cool, ok, will not start when hot ..... typical! But then again it could be a number of other things - just a case of elimination really - Good luck.

NB. Also, I keep at least a 1/4 Tank of Petrol as the in fuel tank pump can be troublesome when nearing empty.....

Welcome to my world.

Its causing me to plan my driving so that I won't need to start when hot.

as bill said sounds like cam sensor trouble
when it wont start whip it outand place it in the freezer for a short while ,put it back in the car and if it starts then the sensor is faulty

Colleague of mine had similar problem when hot and turned out to be starter motor, he bought repair kit from eBay was very simple...maybe I am wrong as majority goes with cam sensor... and if so I will
