Default Problem with windscreen washers

When i try to clear the windscreen just a tiny bit of water comes out, not good or very safe given the muck on the roads at the moment. Ive been told its a filter in the washer reservoir and propably a two hour fix. Anyone else ever had this before?

I had this for about 3 months untill I had the car in the garage for the slave cylinder. Asked the mechanic to clean the washer bottle filter at the same time, which he did at no extra charge.
Another mechanic did quote me £20.
There is a 'how to' on here somewhere with pictures.
Here you go http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...ad.php?t=16328
And this thread http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...unblock+washer
Hope this helps.

Not sure about the 2 hours , takes about 15 mins to drop the bumper 10 mins to sort the filter and say 15 to refit the bumper so maybe an hour topps.

Well my washer pump packed up over xmas, i got a 2nd hand one from a breakers after checking there was 12 volts at the plug. Only after fiitting the new one it still would not work.
It turned out to be a part break in the wireing just above the bottle and stopped then load was put on it.

Cleaning the filter out doesn't require removing the bumper (but would help a lot), and doesn't take 2 hours!

All you need to do is pull away the access panel underneath, and pull back the arch liner, take the pump out, and pull the filter out. I would recommend using this opportunity to flush the system with some boiling water, clean the filter and re-assemble.
