Wheel coulour change - or not
Hi Folks,
I'm thinking of changing the colour of my spoked 18" wheels on my 2005 ZTT ( not sure of the correct name of them) yeah , it's down to an individuals taste but I thought i's have a chat on it or even generate some pictures I can make some comparisons with. So, the car is BGR with the std silver wheels at the moment and I was thinking matt black or a very dark grey. Thoughts ....

It's not a BRG car but when it came time to 'sort' the disgraceful wheels I opted for a 'steel' grey. I personally think it modernises the car (that and lowered springs). I had the same colour on the hairpins on my Lemans green ZT.ImageUploadedByTapatalk1441901833.457475.jpg |

Go for it. A wheel colour change can look very effective when done well.

I do find that against the Trophy Blue of my ZT-T - the Silver Sparkle is a bit "sharp", tho I like the sparkle win the paint - I am considering the same sparkle finish but in a shade or two darker grey.
It would be quite subtle because one thing i cannot abide is alloys painted black - to me that is akin to a teenager painting their bedroom rooms black - at that point of our lives we all thought it was "cool" and unique. It was neither. Sorry - but you did ask for opinions........ |
