Talking Look Where I am going :-)

In Two Weeks we are heading off to Germany, Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber.

So, thought you may like to see the Webcams for Rothenburg Ob Der Tauber:

http://www.nightwatchman.de/index.ph...92e40e55dd549c

Preperations of the Christmas Markets are underway and the Towns Christmas Tree was erected last week - The Market Opens on November 30th.

For anyone who is interested, Rothenburg ODT is one of Germainies oldest Cities and has remained unchanged for hundreds of years. In fact the City is so proud of its Heritage, that any new Buildings within the Cities Walls, must meet the existing Designs of the Cities Medievel Look !!!

The City lay almost decadent after much of its population was killed by the plague and the City itself is steeped in rich history.

More can be found here:

http://www.rothenburg.de/index.php?get=121

and Here:

http://www.romanticroad.com/rothenburg/sights.htm

Plus a million links if you Google the Towns name.............

I love a good Christmas market. Never been to one in Germany although my wife used to go over wnen her parents lived in Munich.
Each year we go away in december for our anniversary. Both Tallinn and Krakow had great Christmas markets and we're hoping Riga this year will have one too. Every time we passed though the square we just had to stop for some gluvein. Mmmmmmm.

Have a wonderful trip.
