Default Cars you wished you'd never sold

Most petrolheads have cars that they have, for one reason or another, had to sell but regretted it later.

I wish I'd never sold this:

A 123 Series Mercedes 230TE

It was a fantastic workhorse that coped with anything I could throw at it.
I bought it for peanuts in, I guess, about 1998 with a cracked exhaust manifold and knackered driveshaft. Replaced those and the car was great. I did later have to replace the clutch (the original pressure plate had vitrtually disintegrated!)

It finally succumbed to rust and I didn't have the room to keep it or the time to do anything with it.

I bought a Sierra to replace it - and hated it!

I still miss the Merc now and would readily buy another.

What car have you sold and later regretted parting with?

I wish I had never sold this "Gutted"

I sold this Triumph Vitesse Convertible 24 years ago, it was garaged up until about 3 months ago when the new owner brought it into my work to show me, (we both belonged to the Triumph Sports Six Club) he has installed wing mirrors which it never had in my day and also new wheels (apart from these minor changes exactly the same).

I may get the opportunity to buy it back in January if all goes well, so fingers crossed.

I don't have a picture of it, but the car I probably regret most having to sell was a 1978 MG Midget 1500, which was the first car I owned from new. Marriage and the ensuing need for greater practicality meant it had to go after less than 2 years...

Another of my old Cars a "J" Reg Ford Granada Scorpio Cosworth 24V 3 Litre Saloon, I liked a lot, and is still running today as my son now has it.
Very Comfortable car with lots of Power and nice extras that the 75s and ZTs don't have but should.
Like Heated Front Screen, Door Lights for Pavement and red lights on them to, Centre Sun Visor (very Handy), Reclining electric rear seats, Electronic Lumber Control.
