No F1 is a business, so anything goes on and off the track

How could this be a fair hearing when on Wednesday Bernie Ecclestone warned the FIA that he has threatened to retire from the sport if the title is taken away from Kimi Raikkonen

Thought that would have been incentive enough to find in McLarens favour...

You can't let someone win like that.
As in Football and most Sports, Judges Decision is final.
It was finished or should have been at Race by the Marshalls etc.
Typical Dennis Sour Grapes.
One of the biggest found out cheating teams in F1.
McLaren got off for similar thing in 2004 season.

Couldn't have put it better JDC.
Let us not forget that only because Alonso made a deal with the FIA ( in the cheating scandal), so he and Hamilton(by default) kept their drivers championship points, that enabled them to have any chance of the championship.
About time Ron Dennis concentrated his time and energy on having a properly run team who can win on their own merit.

If not, it's about time he quit for the good of the sport.

Personally, I think the best thing for the sport in general would be for the manufacturers to set up their own 'Premier League' (as has been muted in recent years) and tell Max Mosley and the FIA to go take a hike
