Best Polish ever? meguiars or glym
I always used Auto glym until i discovered Meguiars.
As copperleaf red is a dark maroon colour, and looks awsome when polished, which polish do you all find best? Meguiars is my choice by a mile, but which is best? Tech nxt generation? Paste? Gold? or the three srtage system???? Does anyone else have any secret formulas to make it shine like no other? |

I swear by Natty's Poorboys wax - blue. Formulated for dark cars. Smells of bubblegum, easy on easy off and no dust when removing.
Not cheap though, but a tub lasts ages. Results: http://www.the75andztclub.co.uk/foru...img&imgid=2352

Thanks!
www.cleanyourcar.co.uk Warning! It's very easy to spend a small fortune on that site! The service from them is excellent, one of the best online ordering experiences I've had.

I use both as i am impressed with different products in their respective ranges.
I use autoglym Super Resin Polish every few months to remove any little scatches and generally just tidy up the paint as it is the best i have come across. I sometimes use their sealant as well (extra gloss protection) to preserve the finish. If i am feeling particularly energetic i will finish off with megs gold class wax. This gives a really good deep lustre and shine. P.S. my car is copperleaf too. It looks excellent when clean, really stands out. |

I spent the other day washing, claying, washing, super resin polish (autoglym) Meguiars polish x2 and finish with Megs carnuba wax and I was very pleased with the result on my copperleaf red tourer. But I still recon Tatts has the edge, lovely job. Was it by hand or did you use a polisher?

I'd go with Tatts on this one. Poorboys products are great. Auto Glym and Meguiars, over the counter stuff not so great. You get a good result but its bl**dy hard work and other products last far longer.
I was away from home for 3 months, I washed the car on Saturday for the first time in over 3 months. It came up like a diamond and last nights rain beaded nicely on top of the paint. The layer of Carlack-68 sealant I applied 6 months ago is still doing its stuff. If you're going to use Poorboys Natty's Paste remember there are 2 different kinds, original and blue depending on the colour of your car.

Must agree with you Ross R75. I'm a Carlack 68 convert, lasts for yonks and gives my black ZT that super sparkle.
Also as Tatts said you can spend a fortune on 'Clean your car.co.uk' they have everything you need |
