Fitted Artic's modified compensator today, not too bad a job. Handbrake is on 4 clicks, but I know I need new rear discs and shoes as last time I had the discs off I noted that the internal drums were corroded.

Many thanks Steve for this excellent mod, and my old compensator will be in the post to you tomorrow.

OK all done. This should have taken 1-2 hours, took me 6 in total!

All back together and I've replaced the adjuster nut that I had to destroy with a couple of washers and a new nut.

Handbrake now holding like a good 'un on 3 clicks Many thanks to Steve for this mod, my old compensator will be in the post tomorrow.

Just want to say a big thank you to Steve for fitting my MK11 compensator today.I now feel that for the first time since buying the car two years ago I have a handbrake which works as it should and that I have confidence in.2-3 clicks and it's not going anywhere.

Thanks also to Steve and Gail for their hopitality

And nice to meet you cabbers.

Hi Artic

A big thanks to you.
Have fitted the mark 2 compensators you sent. These are a high quality modification job. Now 3 to 4 clicks fully on.

Old ones have been posted back to you. These appear to have large amount of stretch. I must have been pulling the handbrake up too hard in desperation.

Its so good to see sensible modifications coming through which will help to keep the 75/ZTs on the road for years to come.

Once again Thanks 75 Ken
