Google only comes up with Rimmers, a couple of Russian sites and this one in Germany http://www.allbrit.de/UNI.cfm?SPRACHE=EN&PAGE=740845. Email [email protected]. I doubt they've got one but you never know. |

Hi, I have had an offer of one fairly near to me (well in the same county anyway!) that I am going to see on Monday (19/8). If that turns out to be no good I may well come back to you. Either way I’ll post progress on here. Thanks

Replacement headlining obtained.
It is the right colour, in good condition and came out of an 02 plate saloon. It is a non-sunroof version, which is good for me as I will need to cut the aperture myself to fit my after-market sunroof, which is presumably not identical to a factory one. However, it does have the cutout for the ceiling mounted ‘volumetric’ intruder detector, which my car does not have. But it’s ok because the seller gave me a detector of the right colour which I will just use as a blanking plate. And yes it did fit into a Rover 45 hatchback with a bit of jiggling to get it in, with the back shelf removed, back seats down, and the front edge of the headlining resting on the top of the front headrests, then close the tailgate carefully. More on the saga I’ve had with the sunroof, and (hopefully) getting the replacement headlining installed, will be on my other thread in due course (see Post #1 for link).
